US-Based Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Giant Announces It Has Started Selling Vehicles with Bitcoin! Here Are the Details

US-based electric vehicle manufacturer Mullen Automotive has announced that it has now started selling vehicles with various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and the $TRUMP meme coin.

Mullen Automotive Begins Accepting Bitcoin and $TRUMP Meme Coin for Electric Vehicle Sales

With this move, the company has become one of the few manufacturers that offer the opportunity to purchase commercial electric vehicles from both Mullen and its subsidiary Bollinger with crypto.

The company announced that it has implemented cryptocurrency acceptance immediately and will consider other popular memes and stablecoins as payment methods in the future.

Mullen CEO David Michery made the following statement:

“The increasing acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a payment method enables Mullen to make its products more widely available to both individual and commercial buyers.”

Vehicles You Can Buy with Crypto

• Mullen ONE: Class 1 EV cargo van
• Mullen THREE: Class 3 EV cab chassis truck
• Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab: Class 4 electric commercial truck designed from the ground up

All Mullen models are sold in compliance with U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, EPA and California Air Resources Board (CARB) certifications.

The company began production at its Tunica facility in August 2023 and has two models on sale by 2024. The company’s commercial dealer network is represented by seven dealerships across the U.S., including Papé Kenworth, Pritchard EV, National Auto Fleet Group, Ziegler Truck Group, Range Truck Group, Eco Auto and Randy Marion Auto Group.

Mullen acquired a majority stake in Michigan-based Bollinger Motors in September 2022. Bollinger achieved another significant milestone by starting production of the B4 model on September 16, 2024. The company’s dealer network currently offers sales and service at more than 50 locations.

This step is considered an important development that could lead to the widespread use of vehicle purchases with crypto payments.
