Coinbase Decides Not to Enter the Turkish Market

In the new information published by the CMB, under the title of “List of Those Who Made a Liquidation Declaration”, it was seen that Coinbase, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, gave up on entering the Turkish market under the name “Coinbase Turkey Yazılım Teknolojileri AŞ”.

However, according to CMB records, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası also submitted its documents to the CMB as a cryptocurrency custodian application.

There are currently 77 companies on the “List of Those in Operation,” which the CMB describes as a temporary list, including Binance Türkiye, Bitfinex, Garanti BBVA and İş Bankası.
