Unusual trading volumes were detected in several altcoins on Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange. The altcoins in question include Tezos ($XTZ), Chiliz ($CHZ), Theta Fuel ($TFUEL), Aave ($AAVE) and Wax (WAXP).
On the 4-hour chart, Tezos ($XTZ) showed a significant increase in trading volume on Upbit. While the average 50 4-hour volume was $79,000, the last recorded volume was $146,000, indicating an increase of 85.39%. However, trading volume on Binance decreased by 59.8%, from an average of $625,000 to $254,000.
Chiliz ($CHZ) also experienced an increase in trading volume on Upbit. While the average 50 4-hour volume was $9 million, this figure increased by a whopping 145.74% to $21 million. On Binance, trading volume increased from $9 million to $11 million, a modest increase of 14.87%.
Theta Fuel ($TFUEL) saw a significant increase in trading volume on the 1-hour chart on Upbit. Average 50 1-hour volumes of $1 million increased by 170.39% to nearly $3 million. Trading volume on Binance also increased from an average of $803,000 to $1 million.
Aave ($AAVE) experienced a massive increase in trading volume on the 1-hour chart on Upbit. The 1-hour average volume of $488 skyrocketed to $2,000, a staggering increase of 424.67%. However, trading volume on Binance decreased by 62.18%, from an average of $2,000 to $891.
Finally, Wax (WAXP) saw a significant increase in trading volume on the 1-hour chart on Upbit. Average 50 1-hour volume increased from $9 million to $23 million, an increase of 154.85%. Trading volume on Binance rose from $3 million to $4 million, a modest increase of 34.02%.
