Binance Charity, the charitable arm of the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem, joins forces with the Children of Heroes Foundation in an effort to provide aid and psychological rehabilitation to children affected by the continuing conflict in Ukraine. Together, they want to host “I am Da Vinci,” a 12-day rehabilitative camp for 50 kids whose parents have sadly died in the Ukrainian war.

The goal of the program is to provide a welcoming space where these kids may heal from their trauma. The camp will provide a one-of-a-kind combination of services and programs with an emphasis on mental health, adventure, community building, and emotional healing.

Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia stated:

“Every child deserves the love and security of a family. At Binance, we are more than willing to support initiatives aimed at alleviating their suffering and restoring hope. In every child we help, we see a brighter future not just for Ukraine, but for the entire world. Our commitment to providing compassionate assistance is not a choice, but a responsibility we wholeheartedly embrace.”

Tetiana Novytska, Children of Heroes, CEO stated:

“The war has hurt the emotional and psychological state of children, especially those who are experiencing the loss of their loved ones. Our beneficiaries have faced various psychological traumas, and if they do not work with specialists now, the consequences can manifest themselves for years. The mission of our Fund is to ensure that all of our beneficiaries are integrated into society and have every opportunity to build a successful life. Therefore, organizing such camps, where children will work with psychologists and recover from difficult experiences, is one of the most crucial areas of our activity. We want to see the smiling faces of children who enjoy their childhood or youth again, not crying eyes, despair, and irritation. Children are our future, so we must care for them and provide all the support they need at the right time.”

Campers who are grieving will have chances to participate in a variety of creative activities, contests, and chores designed to foster intellectual development and self-expression. Throughout the length of the camp, they will get essential psychological care to assist them in managing their feelings, comprehending their losses, and coping with the aftermath of their terrible experiences.

Through the establishment of a supportive environment, the program strives to alleviate feelings of seclusion and loneliness while facilitating the development of meaningful connections with peers who undergo comparable circumstances.

Donations to Binance Charity have funded this summer camp program. An investment of 50,000 USDT, or 2,000,000 UAH, will be made to support this camp experience, which is crucial for the implementation of this program.
