Leading crypto exchange Bitrue has further expanded its support for $XRP by introducing eight new spot-based trading pairs for the sixth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
The eight crypto assets paired with $XRP include Shiba Inu ($SHIB), Pepe ($PEPE), Bonk ($BONK), Uniswap ($UNI), Worldcoin ($WLD), $ORDI ($ORDI), Xahau (XAH), and Optimism (OP).
Although the exchange released the list of the new pairs last week, it called attention to the development today in a tweet.

Bitrue Teases New Trading Pairs For $XRP
The development comes two weeks after Bitrue asked its users to suggest new trading pairs for $XRP. Many enthusiasts proposed that $XRP should be paired with tokens that have high liquidity on Bitrue.
Apparently, Bitrue took these requests into consideration, as the eight new assets paired with $XRP boast strong liquidity and an active community, including Shiba Inu and Pepe.
Over 90 $XRP Pairs Supported on Bitrue
It is worth mentioning that the Bitrue exchange has been a major proponent of $XRP. Since it listed $XRP in 2018, the platform has consistently added new trading pairs for the coin.
Before now, Bitrue had over 85 tradable pairs for $XRP, with some of the most prominent being $XRP/BTC, $USDT/$XRP, and $XRP/ETH.
At the moment, the number of supported $XRP trading pairs has skyrocketed to over 90 following the addition of $SHIB/$XRP, $PEPE/$XRP, $BONK/$XRP, OP/$XRP, $ORDI/$XRP, $UNI/$XRP, $WLD/$XRP, and XAH/$XRP.
Bitrue is one of the leading crypto exchanges that remains confident in $XRP’s potential. The exchange has made numerous bullish posts about $XRP, ranging from asking users to buy the coin to introducing new trading contests for it.
Bitrue Celebrates New $XRP Trading Pairs With Special Package
Interestingly, Bitrue lived up to expectations in the recent expansion of $XRP support. To commemorate the launch of the new trading pairs, Bitrue announced a special trading event, with up to $50,000 in $USDT to be won by participants.
Per the announcement, users will be rewarded based on their engagements with the new $XRP trading pairs throughout the trading event, from March 19 at 10:00 (UTC) to March 26 at 10:00 (UTC).
Additionally, Bitrue users will also enjoy 0% trading fees for the eight new $XRP pairs throughout the duration of the campaign.
Yesterday, popular crypto derivatives platform BitMEX also announced a spot trading pair for $XRP. In addition, $XRP also secured a listing on Atlantis Exchange, a trading platform claiming to be registered with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
In the hours leading up to press time, $XRP was changing hands at $0.5951, down 0.43% over the past day.
