Coinbase International Exchange, an extension of Coinbase Global Inc. focusing on global markets, has disclosed its intention to introduce Perpetual Future Contracts for four new assets: Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Stellar (XLM).
Set to debut on December 30, these assets will be available for trading pairs, pending sufficient liquidity.
The listings will be accessible on both the Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced platforms, expanding the range of digital currencies beyond established ones like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and XRP.
Coinbase’s move to establish a dedicated arm, Coinbase International, underscores its commitment to serving non-US users amid regulatory uncertainties within the US market.
The addition of ADA, LINK, DOGE, and XLM aligns with the platform’s strategy to broaden its appeal across diverse digital currency communities.
Each chosen asset brings distinct characteristics: Cardano’s innovative advancements, Chainlink’s position as a prominent Oracle service provider, and the unique audience appeal of Dogecoin and Stellar were key factors influencing their selection for inclusion on the Coinbase International Exchange.
