Coinbase, the largest US cryptocurrency exchange, announced in a blog post that Coinbase Advanced customers in eligible jurisdictions outside the US can now trade perpetual futures.
Accordingly, eligible Coinbase Advanced customers outside the US will be able to trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP perpetual futures.
“Coinbase aims to offer more global customers access to derivatives products through Coinbase Advanced, a powerful trading platform for both spot and futures.
Starting today, Coinbase customers in eligible jurisdictions outside the US can begin trading perpetual futures on Coinbase Advanced, our platform for advanced retail investors.
Today Coinbase Advanced customers can trade 4 perpetual contracts. These were determined as BTC, ETH, LTC and XRP.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin offer up to 5x initial leverage, while XRP offers up to 3x leverage and uses USDC, a globally trusted stablecoin.”
Coinbase also stated in its statement that they plan to add even more contracts in the coming months.
