Binance to Add Support for Cosmos (ATOM), Plus History Behind Binance Logo

Like Binance exchange has announced its move to add support for Cosmos (ATOM) staking. As always, the announcement was published on the official website and shared on the Twitter handle of Binance exchange on 4th December 2019.

Breakdown of the Monthly Cosmos (ATOM) Airdrop

According to the information shared by Binance, it will add support for Cosmos (ATOM) staking starting from 5th December 2019 at 00:00 AM (UTC). And it will be starting with hourly snapshots of users’ ATOM balances. In order to qualify for the staking reward, users must hold at least 0.5 ATOM. The initial distribution of ATOM staking rewards will be summed up from the starting date until 1st January 2020.

Cosmos (ATOM) rewards are calculated on a daily basis with hourly snapshots and distributed monthly. According to the report, all distributions will be completed before the 20th of each month.

Changpeng Zhao, the Binance CEO that is also known as CZ recently went down the memory lane about how Binance arm tattoo came to being about a year ago.

In the article, the Binance CEO digressed a bit into the history of Binance logo design, which could end up being the tool of conviction. There he referred to 16 months ago when they were deciding what logo to assign for the exchange.

He said many variations of logos were brought up by the designers, and it indeed became a mountain of decision. In the long run, CZ shared that the brilliant designers came up with an astonishing design, which later became Binance exchange’s current logo.
