Bakkt, the ICE-backed exchange, has just made an announcement about its custody service Bakkt Warehouse now being active for Bitcoin futures.

Bitcoin, which is deposited at Bakkt Warehouse, will be protected by a $125 million insurance policy. 

Bakkt is supposed to launch its physically-delivered BTC futures on Sept. 23.
