Coinbase customer service slammed after hackers drained users’ accounts. The US-based crypto exchange giant’s customers are still frustrated with the company’s terrible customer service support.

The US largest crypto exchange is being rigorously criticized following reports of users’ accounts being hacked and drained of funds. According to CNBC, many users across the country have filed complaints against the company.

During an interview with CNBC, many of Coinbase’s clients claimed that their accounts were empty. But the company remains silent on the matter. According to these users, the exchange is not responding to support requests.

CNBC explained the interview as follows,

Interviews with Coinbase customers around the country and a review of thousands of complaints reveal a pattern of account takeovers, where users see money suddenly vanish from their account, followed by poor customer service from Coinbase that made those users feel left hanging and angry.

As per CNBC’s interview, Tanja Vidovic, one of Coinbase’s customers, said she saw nearly all of her $168,000 in crypto vanished under her nose. This happened after she received some password change security alerts back in April. Vidovic said she then tried to contact Coinbase by phone but got no response.

Aside from Vidovic, another client stated that about $35,000 in various cryptos had gone from his account in March. Also, other clients took to social media to express their frustration. More so, they got many reactions from other victims.

However, these victims received emails from Coinbase’s Regulatory Response Team. The emails stated that transactions on the platform are irreversible. In addition, Coinbase mentioned that the insurance policy does not cover theft from individual accounts.
