Following the Binance hack in which attackers took 7000BTC, worth around $40 milion, many projects and big industry players have pledged they want to donate the lost amount to the exchange.
One of them was TRON Founder Justin Sun, who quickly took to Twitter to give his support to Binance. He wrote that if Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao would agree, he will 'personally deposit 7000 BTC worth of USDT into Binance to buy BNB, BTC, TRX and BTT.' TRX and BTT are the tokens of TRON and BitTorrent, two projects Sun runs.
To support @binance , I will personally deposit 7000 BTC worth USDT (40 million USDT) into @binance to buy $BNB, $BTC , $TRX & $BTT if @cz_binance agrees. No need to #FUD! Funds are #SAFU!

The project QuarkChain also offered to donate to Binance, but in an AMA shortly after the hack CZ said this was not needed. "We do have the funds to cover that $40M, we are okay on the funding side. It does hurt, but we do not need the funding help."
"We do appreciate your support in these times", CZ continued. "Many people did try to help us and donate money to us. Our response is the same: we are not short on the funds, if people want to donate they could consider donating to Binance Charity."
CZ also said they are working with other exchanges to block deposits from the addresses of the hackers. In a tweet, he thanked Coinbase for pledging to block deposits.

Also much appreciate the "unitedness" of our industry to fight hackers and fraud.
Also would like to say thanks to $QKC and a whole lot of other partners (sorry, can't list everything here) pledging support to us. We don't need the funds now. Our charity efforts will continue, please consider to donate to those, maybe after we pass this bump.
