Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase enables crypto buys with linked debit cards to Apple and Google Pay and an instant cashout of 100k. In addition to using funds from a connected PayPal account or a connected bank account via ACH or Wire transfer, Coinbase users will now be able to buy crypto with a linked Visa or Mastercard debit card to Apple Pay as well. If a user already has a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked in their Apple Wallet, the Apple Pay option will automatically appear as a payment method when buying crypto with Coinbase on Safari web browser or Apple Pay-supported iOS device. Coinbase will allow buying crypto with Google Pay later this fall. The exchange is also allowing instant cashouts up to $100,000 per transaction available 24/7. Coinbase says it is the first crypto exchange to offer instant cashouts via Real-Time Payments (RTP). This will enable US customers with linked bank accounts to instantly cash out $100k per transaction with no limits on the number of times one can cash out per day compared to Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers that can take up to 5 days. To avail of this service, the user’s financial institution must be a participant in the RTP Network, and their account must be enabled to receive RTP payments.
