Tron’s TRX Listed on Social Trading Platform eToro and a Few More Crypto Exchanges

The Tron Foundation announced on March 25 that eToro, a social investment platform with a user base of more than 10 million, listed Tron’s native token TRX on its trading platform, taking the total number of digital assets listed on the platform to 15.

Tron also used its weekly report to highlight that its token has been listed on two more exchanges and new trading pairs were opened.

eToro Listing Is Good for Tron

eToro founder and CEO Yoni Assia commented positively on Tron, saying that the project has the attention of the crypto community due to its progress towards big ideas. Assia pointed out that Tron is a relatively young blockchain aiming to work with companies with big ideas.

Tron was launched in 2017 by its current CEO Justin Sun and by 2018, the platform launched its main network and topped it off with the acquisition of BitTorrent, one of the world’s leading peer-to-peer file sharing systems with more than 100 million active users.

Assia added that eToro only lists digital assets with a track record of success.

“At eToro we look to offer investors access to crypto-assets that already have some clear success behind them,” said Assia.

Sun was pleased with the listing and said that TRX holders have another platform to manage their assets.

“These steps will help grow the blockchain community and expand our reach around the world,” said Sun.

Tron has been added to a basket of digital assets that include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, XRP, Dash, NEO, Zcash, BNB, IOTA, Stellar, EOS, and Cardano.

eToro is regulated by two major European financial watchdogs – the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).

The latest addition comes after eToro announced in early March that it was launching crypto trading services in 32 U.S. states. The firm listed 13 digital assets including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Stellar, and more.

Tron Weekly Report Tidbits

Tron’s TRX together with BitTorrent’s BTT were listed on a number of exchanges including Altcoin Trader, ABCC, and Changehero, according to the weekly report published on March 25.

Sun attended the Token 2049 Summit in which he gave a speech about Tron and how it may potentially accelerate the development of Dapps.

The Tron leader was also interviewed by a Phoenix Network channel and talked about his platform’s cooperation with Tether.

He called it a collaboration between two powerful firms and according to the report, “it will also be the most important link to improve the stable value of Tron’s global ecosystem.”

Tron’s developer community completed the USDT-TRON black box testing and released the results.

The main network was upgraded to version 3.5 while TronWeb and TRON Quickstart were improved with new features.
