Leading cryptocurrency exchange OKEx has announced support for a new stablecoin. Tron-based USDT-Tron will now be listed on the trading platform, which is currently the fourth-largest by (adjusted) trading volume.
Created in collaboration with Tether, USDT-Tron is a version of the USDT stablecoin that is issued on the Tron network. It offers low fees and fast transaction speeds, as well as interoperability with Tron dApps.

OKEx now lists three Tether protocols, with USDT-ERC20 and USDT-Omni already being supported on the trading platform. These tokens are issued on the Ethereum and Bitcoin networks, respectively.

OKEx will also be supporting the planned airdrop for holders of USDT-Tron. This will be taking place every day, up until March 27.
