The exchange also have a new update regarding hacked accounts.

Cryptopia seems to have begun trading again, before halting trading all together once again, just two months after the sizable hack occured on the New Zealand based exchange.

Current trading volume remains small on the exchange as Cryptopia slowly re-opens for business, with roughly just over $28,000 (7 BTC) traded on the exchange. However, it seems that might have just been an early test run, as trading is closed again. Cryptopia have released a new update for accounts that have had funds hacked.

The announcement states that users who have had funds hacked will see withdrawals on their account with no TXID, but will represent "how the coin was impacted in the event". In other words how much of it was taken from the account. Cryptopia also state that "For each withdraw you will also see a subsequent deposit of Cryptopia Loss Marker(CLM), the TXID for this will also not exist on a network but will detail the coin it represents a loss for." The CLM coin represents the loss of each coin for each user in New Zealand Dollars at the time of the event. Cryptopia admit that they are still taking legal steps towards reimbursement.
