Warn said that while many Americans are struggling to “afford the basics,” Trump is “using the presidency” to boost his family’s cryptocurrency business.
“The sample was weighted to reflect modeled turnout and demographic characteristics of the population of voters in the 2026 likely electorate,” Echelon explained the methodology.
The White House didn’t immediately return Benzinga’s request for comment.
Trump’s Crypto Earnings in the Spotlight
A White House spokesperson told Benzinga earlier that all actions by the Trump administration are taken in the "best interest of the American people," while rejecting any suggestions of "conflict of interest.
The disclosure, however, has prompted calls for tighter guardrails on Trump’s cryptocurrency profiteering.
New ethics provisions in the Clarity Act, also known as the cryptocurrency market structure bill, prohibit the president, vice president and other covered officials, and their spouses,.
But Warren said the to prevent Trump from making his next billion-dollar fortune from cryptocurrency ventures, and demanded the bill be dead on arrival.
