It looks like Visa is really interested in crypto these days and, instead of opposing this wave of innovation, they’re riding it.

In a brand new job listing, the company just said that it’s looking for a technical product manager for the Visa Crypto Team.

The listing details that the new full-time employee will become responsible for executing Visa’s product strategy within the crypto ecosystem.

They will also have to manage a product roadmap and collaborate with the Visa Research team in order to design and develop brand new products.

Here’s how Visa‘s announcement begins:

“Are you passionate about the intersection of payments and cryptocurrency? Are you deeply familiar with permissionless blockchain technology and have a close network of experts in the fast-moving cryptocurrency and fintech ecosystem? Are you excited about the challenge of developing new products for Visa to deliver value to fintechs looking to support cryptocurrencies?”

You can take a look at Visa’s job listing along with the responsibilities and qualifications, and who knows, if you’re interested and qualified, go for it.

Other important names are jumping in the crypto wagon

Visa is not the only legacy company that’s hopping in the crypto wagon these days, making efforts to embrace innovation and leaving behind competitors who stick to traditional strategies only.

If you recall, JP Morgan Chase which is the largest bank in the US has recently revealed the launch of its digital asset JPM Coin.

Facebook is also reportedly planning to integrate a cryptocurrency on WhatsApp, its messaging system, allowing users to make crypto transactions.

It’s great to see that more and more essential names are adopting cryptos and their technology and integrating them into their businesses.

With more regulations implemented in the crypto space, trust will also be on the rise, allowing more investors to enter the crypto sphere.
