The PancakeSwap community will consider passing 88% of transaction fees to liquidity providers and reducing the daily $CAKE emission from 22,500 to 7,000.
Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange PancakeSwap has launched a new governance vote that could significantly alter the distribution of fee revenues and the production speed of the $CAKE token. If the proposal, dubbed “The Flip,” is accepted, 88% of transaction fees in the V3 and Infinity pools will go to liquidity providers.
In the current system, the share received by liquidity providers ranges from 66% to 68% in most pools. The new model aims to give users who provide capital to the pools a higher share of transaction fees.
