Frax announced a six-currency foreign-exchange lineup on Aerodrome on Base on Oct. 19, giving traders direct stablecoin pairs against its dollar token frxUSD.
The six pools held about $241,000 in combined liquidity and recorded roughly $20,000 in trading over the preceding 24 hours, according to The Defiant’s calculation using a GeckoTerminal API snapshot retrieved at 12:28 p.m. ET. All six registered activity, but the Australian-dollar and South African rand pools each traded less than $200.
The lineup pairs frxUSD with BRZ, CADD, tGBP, IDRX, ZARP and AUDF—tokens tracking the Brazilian real, Canadian dollar, British pound, Indonesian rupiah, South African rand and Australian dollar, respectively. Traders exchange currency-pegged tokens through the pools, rather than bank-account balances. “Six local currency stablecoins trade against frxUSD,” Frax said, naming DFB as a collaborator.
