GMX Deploys to Avalanche
Earlier this week, Avalanche gave an update on its integration with GMX, a decentralized spot, and perpetual exchange. GMX offers cheap swap costs and zero price impact trades. Following the integration, users can trade AVAX, BTC, and ETH directly from their Metamask wallet. GMX has seen substantial growth since Avalanche started, with over $1 billion in transactions in less than two weeks.
Avalanche’s extremely secure and low-fee chain has helped GMX become a favored DeFi destination. GMX also leverages Avalanche’s high throughput to get price oracle updates in a more consistent manner. Finally, this integration aids GMX in diversifying its utility to other Defi protocols.
