The Cardano ecosystem has welcomed Huawei Cloud, one of the largest cloud computing firms globally, to broaden the reach of the Cardano network.
In particular, Cardano’s blockchain partner EMURGO has entered an alliance with Huawei Cloud to promote Web3 solutions via Cardano. EMURGO disclosed this new collaboration with Huawei in an official press statement today, April 11.
According to the report, the alliance aims to bolster the adoption of Cardano-based Web3 solutions throughout Asia and Africa. Additionally, the collaboration involves extending support for a Cardano Validator Node on the Huawei Cloud platform.

Details of the Cardano Alliance with Huawei Cloud
For context, Huawei Cloud is the flagship cloud service brand under the tech behemoth Huawei. Huawei Cloud is regarded as one of the foremost cloud computing entities globally.
Under this alliance, EMURGO will set up a Cardano Validator Node on Huawei Cloud, effectively integrating Huawei’s cloud infrastructure into Cardano’s public blockchain ecosystem.
Furthermore, the collaboration enables Cardano developers to leverage Huawei Cloud’s extensive computing resources to build Web3 solutions. Also, Cardano will gain entry to Huawei’s Marketplace, a widely used platform among leading enterprises. Besides, the fresh alliance seeks to bolster the interoperability and scalability of Cardano’s cloud services.
In parallel, the report emphasized that this milestone signifies the initial stride toward a broader collaboration between EMURGO and Huawei. It noted that it aligns with EMURGO’s goal to extend the Cardano ecosystem to significant regional economies across Asia Pacific and Africa.
Ken Kodama, the CEO of EMURGO, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Huawei Cloud, stating:
“This partnership represents our shared vision to accelerate Web3 adoption while enabling transparency and trust in the cloud ecosystem.”
Similarly, Rex Lei Yang, Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Singapore, expressed delight at the partnership. Lei Yang noted that it provides the firm access to an extensive network of Web3 developers via Cardano.
