Coinbase CEO Anthony Bassili Predicts Bitcoin (BTC) Price Level by 2030!

Coinbase President Anthony Bassili has offered an optimistic long-term forecast for the price of Bitcoin ($BTC). Bassili stated that he expects Bitcoin to surpass the $300,000 level by 2030.

In his interview, Bassili noted that as Bitcoin’s market capitalization continues to grow, repeating the high returns seen in the past may become increasingly difficult.

According to Bassili, as Bitcoin’s total market capitalization increases, the rates of return achieved in each market cycle can be expected to gradually decrease. This means that the likelihood of Bitcoin experiencing the same scale of very high percentage increases in the future may decrease.

However, Bassili believes that Bitcoin still has long-term growth potential. The head of Coinbase Asset Management maintains his expectation that $BTC will surpass $300,000 by 2030, while also commenting on the valuation difference between Bitcoin and gold.

Bassili considered the narrowing of the gap between Bitcoin’s market capitalization and the total value of gold as one of the long-term goals. However, he emphasized that he does not expect this gap to close in the short term.

Gold and Bitcoin are sometimes compared as stores of value due to their limited supply. However, the two assets differ significantly in terms of market capitalization, history, and investor base.

Bassili’s Bitcoin prediction of over $300,000 reflects a long-term market outlook. The statements are based on the view that while returns may become more moderate as $BTC grows, the asset’s potential for appreciation remains.
