Controversial Cryptocurrency Figure Arthur Hayes Bought a Large Amount of This Altcoin During the Rally

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes purchased a total of $1.5 million worth of Ethena ($ENA) tokens in the last 24 hours.

According to cryptocurrency analyst Yu Jin's analysis based on on-chain data, Hayes made this investment through different platforms.

Hayes' trades include buying 2.1 million $ENA for 755,000 $USDC on Binance, buying 700,000 $ENA for 248,000 $USDC on Wintermute, and buying 1.4 million $ENA for 502,000 $USDC on Galaxy Digital.

Hayes, who frequently makes headlines not only for his investments but also for his market views, is extremely optimistic about Ethereum. In a post on social media platform X, he stated that he predicts Ethereum will reach $10,000. This level is roughly four times ETH's current price.

Speaking at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference, Hayes claimed that Ethereum could reach the $4,000 to $5,000 range this year, accelerating the capital shift from Bitcoin to altcoins. According to Hayes, this trend resembles the 2021 market cycle and could herald a strong rally in the altcoin market.
