Dogecoin aims for multiple support points with its latest move to employ experienced people in hot professions.

Dogecoin is about to get to a whole new level. The meme coin has earned support from big quarters like Elon Musk, who has been working with a team of developers to take DOGE to the next level.

Now, Dogecoin is hiring translators, developers, writers, and even meme creators to join its community and help advance the vision of a global Dogecoin. According to the tweet, these professionals will be instrumental in pushing Dogecoin to the moon.

#Dogecoin is nothing without our #DogeFam. We always need YOU. If you're a developer, a translator, a writer or a memer, come and join us! Make sure to also follow @dogecoin_devs and @DogecoinFdn for more ways on how you can be a part of our decentralized journey to the moon!

DOGE Director Engages Community

In a separate tweet, one of Dogecoin’s directors at the Dogecoin Foundation, Timothy Stebbing, attempted to engage the community to get recommendations and views on what is needed to advance Dogecoin to the next stage and keep it relevant – especially during a time when a global recession is looming.

“Today, we’re looking down the barrel of a global recession like we have not seen for 30+ years, and I’m asking myself the question: “What can we do very quickly to be ready for the world to come in 12-18 months”, times of great turmoil are also times of great opportunity.”

To attain the next level, DOGE must become a product that the entire world can adopt.

Director @tjstebbing of the Dogecoin Foundation has a question for the #Dogecoin community. What can $DOGE do to be a useful product to the world right now? How can we #BUIDL for the better?https://t.co/W52MLAVFSm

Among the recommendations from members of the community is building layer two which would make the network faster. Another one is to link a payment gateway to platforms like BitPay. On these, Timothy has a better solution – accept “calculated risk.”

“I have an alternative solution to an l2 (specifically for the speed issue)… it’s called ‘accept the calculated risk.'”

This means that people with funds in their wallets shouldn’t wait until the payment is confirmed for them to be given what they’re purchasing. Timothy’s opinion builds on the fact that blockchain-based or crypto payments cannot be reversed and that the recipient is guaranteed to get their payment as long as the transaction is initiated.

“If someone is buying a 50 Doge cup of coffee, if their wallet has the funds, if the transaction looks valid.. give them the coffee, don’t wait for confirmation, your success rate will be exceptionally high.”

DOGE Adoption

This latest move by Dogecoin is meant to boost its adoption. The professions involved will play critical roles in popularizing crypto and improving its operating models. For one, DOGE is already popular as a meme coin, and all that’s needed now is to enhance its utility. In the recent past, Elon Musk said he was looking to work with developers to achieve this end.

However, it’s yet to be known whether this latest hiring spree is linked to him. If the move is successful, Dogecoin could soon rock the world. DOGE is already among the top 10 coins in the charts and is trading at around $0.06.
