Customers can now use Dogecoin to pay for transit journeys on Elon Musk's tunnel building company, The Boring Company's (TBC) system in Las Vegas. According to a CNBC story from July 6, the new Bitpay payment option first appeared on Friday, one day after the debut of its new Loop station at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Although Elon Musk, the founder of The Boring Company, did not formally acknowledge the new payment option, he appeared to have done so when he replied to a tweet about it with the phrase,
"Supporting Doge wherever possible."

He can be seen utilizing BitPay to pay 37.52 DOGE for a day pass and navigating the Vegas Loop booking page. The fourth stop on the 1.7-mile Las Vegas Convention Center Loop is the new Loop station, tucked away beneath Resorts World Las Vegas, an integrated resort. https://twitter.com/cb_doge/status/1544871812387176448
Dogecoin Payments on Loop
Passengers can board human-driven electric vehicles bearing the Tesla brand to get from one stop to the next. The business is still working on integrating driverless cars into its transportation network in Vegas in the future. The latest integration for Musk's portfolio of businesses is the support for Dogecoin payments on Loop. Dogecoin's value increased by 25% due to Tesla CEO Elon Musk's statement in December that the electric car maker would start accepting DOGE for some goods transactions. Even though there was little to no price change, Musk said in May 2022 that he would expand the SpaceX payment option.
