The Cardano (ADA) project has recently received some major publicity from Japanese national TV. Co-founder Charles Hoskinson and the company logo were featured on the channels BS1 and NHK.

As reported by CryptoVibes, BS1 recently created and broadcast a documentary called "Capitalism - the Desire of 2019". In an interview featured in the film, Hoskinson discussed Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

On the liberatory potential of crypto, Hoskinson claimed that "3 billion people live in a situation where they can’t get credit, they can’t get insurance, their businesses can’t get the funding that they need to get to the next level and this (decentralized) ecosystem puts them all on the same playground and now for the first time ever in a human history you’ll have access to the same markets that Bill Gates has access to."

A talk show broadcast on the NHK station also mentioned Cardano. It was described as an innovative, reliable and scientific project, with a strong community. During this section, the Cardano logo was also prominently shown on screen.
