Dubbed as the “swiss army knife” of cryptocurrency platforms and aiming to spearhead global blockchain adoption, Syscoin recently underwent a dramatic revamp, including a new website, logo, and an updated roadmap.

The new Syscoin aesthetic aims to represent the project's “cutting edge technology”. This year, Syscoin team have tirelessly researched and developed this technology in order to cultivate a fully scalable and secure platform; new innovations such as Syscoin’s unique Z-DAG technology focus specifically on increasing transaction speed.

The team also relays that results from an upcoming TPS test undertaken by Whiteblock – the blockchain testing platform – will be published simultaneously with the release of the Z-DAG whitepaper.

Furthermore, the team has announced the formation of the new Syscoin Foundation - a not for profit organization that will represent the core of the Syscoin development team, taking over their duties of dealing with Public relations, securing code repositories and furthering development.

The development of the foundation allows the core development team to focus on growth, research and development of the platform. The next focal point for development is EVM smart contracts, furthering Syscoin’s real-world use cases.

The team released their updated roadmap, detailing what lays in store for the near future:

About the Syscoin Foundation:

Its goal is to expedite the global adoption of blockchain technology by championing the unique decentralization features offered by theSyscoin Platform. The Foundation acts as the official body for Syscoin, representing the project to its community members and its partners, and incentivizing developers to improve the Syscoin core protocol while making sure there is sufficient access to developer tools and information.
