Unagi, the company behind Persona Journey, Ultimate Champions and Records, has put its assets up for sale following court-ordered liquidation in France. The company announced the sale on Oct. 16, with offers due Nov. 2, according to the liquidator’s listing.
A notice in France’s official BODACC register, published Oct. 6, records a Sept. 23 liquidation judgment from the Créteil commercial court appointing Alain François Souchon as liquidator. It sets April 30, 2026, as the date Unagi ceased meeting its payment obligations.
For $NFT holders and players, the sale puts the projects’ intellectual property, contracts and game businesses on the market without a stated commitment to continued service. The sale announcement does not explain whether Ultimate Champions or Persona Journey remain operational, or how players’ NFTs and in-game balances will be treated.
