Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has praised the integration of RealFi yield into Strike Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform on Cardano.

In a post on X, Hoskinson said RealFi was now available through Strike, calling it one of the best decentralized applications (DApps) on Cardano.

Specifically, the integration allows users to earn returns from RealFi’s yield-generating assets alongside the returns from Strike Finance’s liquidity vaults.

RealFi also welcomed the partnership, saying it was great to see builders supporting each other.

Strike Adds RealFi Yield to Its Liquidity Vaults

Strike Finance has integrated RealFi yield into its liquidity vaults, allowing users to earn returns from RealFi alongside Strike’s existing vault earnings. The platform says users can borrow USD at 0% interest against eligible collateral and deposit the borrowed funds into Strike Liquidity Provider (SLP) vaults.

Strike advertised annual percentage rates (APR) of up to 50% on USD. Its interface also showed rates of 49.27% for sUSDrf positions, 37.03% for ADA-backed positions, and 41.29% for a Sundae USDCx/USDM liquidity pool.

Meanwhile, these rates can change depending on market conditions and vault performance, so returns are not guaranteed. Users can access the feature through Strike Finance’s Borrow & Earn platform.

How RealFi Works With Strike

RealFi is a Cardano-based protocol that generates yield from real-world financial assets, including U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, and investment-grade credit. By adding RealFi yield to its vaults, Strike aims to combine earnings from these assets with its existing returns.

Users can lock eligible collateral, borrow USD under the advertised 0% interest terms, and invest the borrowed funds in supported SLP vaults.

However, users should remember that returns can fluctuate. Borrowing against collateral also carries liquidation risks if the collateral’s value falls or the position no longer meets the platform’s requirements.

Cardano DeFi Partnership Expands

Ultimately, Hoskinson’s support highlights how Cardano-based projects are working together to expand the network’s DeFi ecosystem.

The partnership combines RealFi’s yield from real-world assets with Strike Finance’s platform, which allows users to borrow funds and invest them in liquidity vaults.

However, returns may change depending on market conditions, vault performance, and the risks associated with the assets and collateral.
