Travala Launches AI Travel Booking Agent

Travala, a cryptocurrency-based travel booking platform, has launched an AI travel agent with $BNB Chain, a blockchain network, and Binance Pay, a crypto payment service. The tool lets users search for and book hotels directly on Travala using a $BNB Smart Chain (BSC) wallet, without additional setup.

To make a booking, users open the AI agent on Travala and fund a BSC wallet with USDT. The agent then presents hotel options and handles the booking process. Binance Pay processes payments, while $BNB Chain provides the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) standard and software for AI-driven transactions.

The payment process uses an off-chain Permit2 authorization, so users do not need to pay gas fees themselves. After verifying the authorization and available funds, the system processes the payment through Binance Pay and generates an on-chain receipt confirming the booking.

Users can receive 10% back on their first booking worth more than $400. Of this amount, 7% is paid in $BNB after the stay is completed. Another 3% is available in AVA for members of Travala’s Smart program.

The new agent operates separately from Travala’s existing Travel MCP service. It currently supports more than 2.2 million properties worldwide. The company plans to add other travel products, including flights, in the future.
