2.5 Billion RLUSD Supply Unlocked: Ripple's Stablecoin Hits New Milestone

As Ripple continues to push its native stablecoin, $RLUSD, to gain recognition across the global space amid multiple developments, the asset has maintained consistent growth since its emergence.

Since it was launched in late 2024, $RLUSD has emerged to become one of the fastest-growing stablecoins across the crypto ecosystem as it continues to see increasing demand.

$RLUSD unlocks new supply level

Following the consistent demand for the Ripple-issued stablecoin, the asset has just surpassed a major milestone in its total market supply.

Per the latest data provided by CoinMarketCap, the stablecoin now boasts a total supply of 2,520,234,035.02 $RLUSD, marking a substantial increase from the level it was at last month.

Meanwhile, the market capitalization of $RLUSD has also reached a new milestone at $2,520,303,254.33, matching its fully diluted valuation.

It is important to note that this milestone has come at a time when $RLUSD is seeing increased demand from crypto users as sentiment begins to flip positively.

As such, the stablecoin saw its 24-hour trading volume surge substantially, reaching $253.5 million as of September 30. This marks an increase of 22.72% over the last day.

$RLUSD holder count expands alongside supply

Following the rapid $RLUSD growth, there are now over 2.52 billion $RLUSD tokens currently in circulation, allowing users more access to leverage its expanding features.

While the data signals active participation in the $RLUSD ecosystem, the stablecoin now boasts over 12,650 holders within just about two years of launch.
