Goldman Sachs connects $100B to Avalanche through its flagship Treasury fund, FTIXX.
The fund will be offered on Lynq, a private, permissioned Avalanche L1, as Avalanche announced on X.
More than 30 institutional digital asset firms use the network, including B2C2, Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, and Fireblocks.
Firms on Lynq can now put cash to work between trades. They earn yield without leaving the infrastructure they already use.
Trades run through tZERO Securities, a licensed broker-dealer. Access is limited to qualified U.S. clients who have onboarded with both Lynq and tZERO. FTIXX is the first outside fund on the network.
Goldman is not tokenizing the fund. Lynq clients get the ordinary institutional share class. The chain acts as a new settlement and distribution rail.
That keeps the product familiar for compliance teams. It also moves cash on the same rails as the trades.
Lynq is permissioned, so the link to the public $AVAX token is indirect. The signal is still clear. A major Wall Street bank chose Avalanche technology for a $100B fund.
Treasury exposure already sits at the heart of crypto, largely through stablecoin reserves. The next step is proof of real flows through Lynq.
At 10:16 UTC on 29 September 2026, $AVAX traded at $11.59. That is up 6.3% over seven days. The BTC pair stood at 0.00013774.
Price peaked near $11.30 on 23 September, then slid to a low near $10.10 by 25 September. A choppy climb followed, with a swing high near $11.15 on 27 September.
On 29 September, a sharp vertical move pushed price above the 23 September peak. Macro risk sits ahead too, with key US data releases due this week.
The news is live and the price has reacted. Now the market waits for numbers. How much cash will move through Lynq in the weeks ahead? And will other Wall Street names follow Goldman onto the network?
