List of the 10 Altcoins with the Largest Increase in Whale Transactions Released

Cryptocurrency analysis platform Santiment has shared the cryptocurrency projects that have seen the highest increase in whale transactions of $100,000 and above in the last week. According to the data, Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) on the Optimism network took the top spot by a wide margin in terms of increased whale activity.

According to data shared by Santiment, the number of WBTC transactions exceeding $100,000 on Optimism increased by 13,950% in the last 7 days. WBTC was followed by Basic Attention Token ($BAT) with a 1,100% increase and Humanity Protocol (H) with a 900% increase.

Based on weekly growth rates in whale transactions, the top 10 projects are ranked as follows:

1. Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC – Optimism): 13.950%
2. Basic Attention Token ($BAT): 1.100%
3. Humanity Protocol (H): 900%
4. WhiteBIT Token (WBT): 700%
5. Sentient (SENT): 600%
6. The Sandbox (SAND): 429%
7. Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL): 300%
8. Kelp DAO Retaken ETH (RSETH): 277%
9. Chiliz (CHZ): 211%
10. Mantle (MNT): 200%

Santiment’s data indicates that trading activity by large investors in these projects has accelerated significantly compared to the previous week. However, the increase in whale transactions alone does not necessarily signal a buy.
