In the crypto market, investors closely monitor on-chain data for Bitcoin and altcoins, and significant volatility has been observed in both altcoins, indicating considerable change.

Cryptocurrency analysis platform Santiment reported that, according to their data, there have been notable net outflows from exchanges for Chainlink and $PEPE.

The decrease in the supply of both tokens held on exchanges was considered a significant signal indicating a decline in the amount of tokens available for sale in the short term.

“Chainlink Experiences Net Outflow of 1.26 Million!”

According to Santimente, Chainlink on the ETH network saw a net outflow of approximately 1.26 million $LINK in the last 24 hours. This marks the largest daily $LINK outflow recorded since June 29th.

The decrease in the amount of $LINK held on exchanges may indicate that investors are moving their tokens from centralized exchanges to personal wallets or different custody addresses. This, in turn, reduces the risk of potential future selling pressure, as it means a decrease in the supply of $LINK ready for rapid sale in the short term.

$PEPE’s 4.54 Trillion Tokens Went Delisted from Exchanges!”

In the Memecoin market, a larger-scale movement was observed on the $PEPE side. $PEPE saw a net outflow of approximately 4.54 trillion tokens from the exchange in the last 24 hours.

This was the largest daily net outflow of $PEPE since November 14, 2024.

The decrease in the supply of $PEPE on exchanges also reduces the risk of a sudden, intense sell-off. Especially during periods of prolonged sideways price movement, such exchange exits can be interpreted as a signal that investors prefer to hold onto $PEPE tokens rather than sell them.

What Do the Movements in $LINK and $PEPE Mean?

The common point for both assets is the decrease in supply on exchanges, but this alone does not mean the price will rise. However, the decrease in the amount of tokens available for sale may create a more positive outlook on the supply side.

“In both assets, the supply available for sale on exchanges is decreasing.
On the $LINK side, institutional usage and infrastructure developments are noteworthy.
On the $PEPE side, the possible ETF decision and the rotation in the memecoin market are being closely monitored.”
