Bitcoin has surged above $64,000 in the last 24 hours. This has also been reflected in altcoins, with Ethereum moving in tandem with $BTC and benefiting from the overall market recovery.

$ETH surged 3.5% in the last 24 hours, challenging the $1,800 mark, while altcoins like XRP, Solana, and $HYPE also saw significant gains.

According to CoinMarketCap data, Omni Network (OMNI) was the top-performing altcoin in the last 24 hours with a 33% gain. It was followed by Aventus (AVT), ApeCoin, EIGEN, and ARB.

In contrast, altcoins such as TRIA, SEAM, and JTO were among those that fell the most.

While the altcoin market experienced both rises and falls, whale activity continued.

According to a post by the cryptocurrency analysis platform Lookonchain, an investor who stated that they missed the rallies in ANSEM, CZ, and TCC took profits in $CASHCAT.

However, they still suffered a significant loss. The anonymous whale missed out on approximately $3.6 million in potential profit because they sold 20 million $CASHCAT memecoins too early. They only made a profit of $2,803.

The whale subsequently repurchased 7.7 million $CASHCAT and now owns 900,600 $CASHCAT, worth approximately $162,000. Its total profit from $CASHCAT is around $396,000.

The whale with the address “0xf02d” closed its $HYPE position after holding it for almost two months, incurring a loss of $4.52 million. But it didn’t give up.

Instead, he opened another 10x leveraged short position on 283,948 $HYPE (worth $19.34 million).

According to data analysis platform Onchainlens, a whale with total profits exceeding $38.75 million has reappeared after months of inactivity.

During the day, he deposited $892,000 into his wallet and opened long positions in two altcoins on Hyperliquid: “A ZEC position worth $7.01 million with 10x leverage; a LIT position worth $3.98 million with 5x leverage.”

Lastly, it was reported that cryptocurrency wallet provider Exodus reduced its holdings of $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL.

According to data released by Exodus, he sold 56 $BTC, 976 $ETH, and 2,924 $SOL.
