CEO of a Crypto Firm Managing $4 Billion Shares Two Altcoins He Believes Are Bullish

Haseeb Qureshi, a partner at cryptocurrency-focused investment company Dragonfly, said that the current turmoil in the crypto market is a healthy phase for the sector.

According to Qureshi, the departure of some veteran and experienced figures from the industry doesn’t mean crypto is nearing its end; rather, it signals a natural cleanup process in the market, similar to the bursting of early tech bubbles.

Qureshi stated that while short-term pain may be inevitable during such periods, the long-term benefits are far more important. The Dragonfly partner argued that pessimistic expectations are exaggerated in every bear market, and that staying in the crypto sector is historically the only strategy that works.

Haseeb Qureshi also expressed strong optimism regarding Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL). He stated that both assets have enormous potential for the future, adding that cryptocurrency is fundamentally an extension of technology and the internet.

According to Qureshi, the crypto sector will lead to significant changes on a global scale, similar to how the internet transformed the world. Therefore, he argued that short-term fluctuations should not overshadow the long-term value of the sector.
