Important notice passed to $XRP Ledger validators
Ripple head of engineering J.A Akinyele sends out an important notice to $XRP Ledger validators. This comes ahead of the fix amendment in XRPL version 3.1.3 which is set to activate in about eight days.
The XRPL version 3.1.3 was released on May 8 and included one default-yes fix amendment.
In a new tweet, Akinyele revealed that 44% of the XRPL network has upgraded to v3.1.3. This is less than half of the network with node operators urged to upgrade as soon as possible.
This urgency to update follows as the fix amendment in the $XRP Ledger software version 3.1.3 will be activated in about 8 days. Nodes that haven't been updated to the latest software version will be unable to communicate with the network, referred to as amendment blocking.
