Swiss company TrustLinq, a crypto-to-fiat payment service, announced integration with Ripple to expand its payment infrastructure. The update allows the platform to increase coverage for direct crypto-to-fiat transfers into bank accounts across more than 170 countries and over 80 currencies.

TrustLinq processes payments from self-custodial wallets and settles them directly as local bank transfers. Users send stablecoins, while recipients receive standard fiat transfers without needing crypto wallets or platform accounts. This model differs from typical off-ramps, where exchanges or intermediaries are required.

With the integration, TrustLinq now uses Ripple Payments as part of its backend system. This adds real-time settlement options and supports multiple payment rails alongside existing systems like SEPA, SWIFT, and ACH.

The platform currently supports major stablecoins, including USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20, as well as USDC and EURC.
