Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is celebrating his return to the highly anticipated $XRP Las Vegas 2026 conference.

The highly influential executive has taken to the X social media network to share a pair of selfies.

Even when our backs were against the wall, we refused to fold.

Always great to be back for $XRP Las Vegas, and even BETTER to see $XRP up in lights. pic.twitter.com/kBc9rqoklO

The photos follow a series of recent statements from Garlinghouse that were meant to reaffirm $XRP's central role within the Ripple ecosystem.

"We refused to fold"

Garlinghouse shared a two-part selfie taken on the Las Vegas Strip with the Treasure Island hotel and casino in the background.

In the first photo, the vibrant display features the words "DIDN'T FOLD" in bold white text against a black background. In the second photo, the billboard transitions to display the "$XRP" logo and text in black against a bright white background.

"Even when our backs were against the wall, we refused to fold," Garlinghouse wrote, referring to the grueling battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that originally started back in 2020.

Re-communicating the "North Star"

As reported by U.Today, Garlinghouse recently reminded the cryptocurrency community that $XRP remains at the core of Ripple's mission.

He has agreed with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who noted that a CEO's responsibility is to "communicate and re-communicate the North Star" of a company.

The Ripple boss made similar comments during a recent X Spaces broadcast. Back then, Garlinghouse claimed that the token was the company's heartbeat.

Frustration over $XRP's performance continues to grow within the community. However, on the bright side, the token is currently up by 4% amid broader market recovery.
