Horse-themed cryptocurrencies turned bullish as market participants celebrated the Lunar New Year on Tuesday. It seems that traders were locked in on the Year of the Horse narrative.
BNB Chain-based meme token MHORSE rose 7% over the past 24 hours to $0.0121. Its market capitalization crossed $6.3 million. On Solana, Flying Ketamine Horse gained 2.90% to $0.0002354, with a smaller valuation of $232,400.
Another token, Horse Coin (HORSE), posted the largest jump, rising 15% to $0.000000000000002421.
The Lunar New Year, also called the Spring Festival, began Feb. 17 and runs for up to 15 days before ending with the Lantern Festival on March 3. The zodiac animal for 2026 is the Horse, the seventh sign in the Chinese zodiac cycle.
Cultural symbolism around speed, strength, and progress often feeds trading narratives and online engagement, pushing horse-themed tokens into focus.
Exchange Campaigns and Community Momentum
Crypto exchanges also pushed horse-themed marketing campaigns during the holiday period. CoinW launched a meme campaign focused on horse-themed tokens and offered a 100 USDT airdrop for creators.
Bybit introduced a limited-edition Lunar New Year card design tied to the Year of the Horse while promoting crypto payments and asset management features. BitMart distributed promotional red packet rewards through a holiday campaign.
These promotions boosted online visibility and trading activity across themed assets. Cultural marketing and exchange incentives often drive short bursts of demand in the meme sector.
Market analysts also pointed to rising interest in new horse-themed tokens within the Binance ecosystem. A token called “Dark Horse” gained attention after launch, with the community discussing symbolic tokens linked to the Spring Festival narrative.
Analysts said the market is moving from single-token speculation toward broader meme ecosystems built around shared cultural themes.
