As announced in a recent tweet published by Digycode, a company that has been working in the crypto sector since 2017, it will now be possible to buy the Tezos (XTZ) crypto in over 10 thousand tobacco shops in France.
Through the coupon and gift card service offered by Digycode, the company has made it possible to propagate the crypto throughout the country. Moreover, it is already possible to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP) and Dash.
Tezos in tobacco shops but with KYC
Unfortunately, the Digycode system is not flawless since in order to be able to buy these cryptocurrencies in the various tobacconists in France it is necessary to go through a KYC (Know Your Customer) verification and so there is this kind of limitation, which could affect the diffusion of digital currencies.
Nevertheless, Tezos has been added today among the already available assets and has been praised by Christopher Villegas, co-founder of Digital Broker:
