Arthur Hayes, one of the most controversial figures in the cryptocurrency world, made some noteworthy transactions according to onchain data during the major drop in Bitcoin and altcoins.
According to onchain data, Arthur Hayes sold Pendle (PENDLE), Ethereum (ENA), and Lido Finance (LDO) tokens and purchased Hyperliquid ($HYPE) tokens in their place.
Data shows that Hayes purchased 57,881 $HYPE tokens worth $1.91 million in the last 24 hours. With this purchase, Hayes’ $HYPE holdings reached 131,807 tokens, or $4.33 million.
Looking at the other known wallets of Hayes, the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, it appears that he holds a significant amount of stablecoins. According to data excluding $HYPE assets, Hayes has a total cryptocurrency fortune of $43 million, of which $21.72 million is parked in the USDC stablecoin. His largest holding is Ethereum, with $6.8 million. His second largest holding is Pendle, which he currently owns for $1.96 million.
