The ranking shared by the company is based on developer activity data for projects on open-source platforms such as GitHub.

According to Santiment data, developer interest in the Solana ecosystem is predominantly focused on oracle, infrastructure, and liquidity-related projects. Projects enabling cross-chain integrations and data flow are particularly noteworthy for their high ranking.

Santiment’s ranking of Solana ecosystem developer activities is as follows:

  1. Chainlink ($LINK) – 196.77
  2. Solana ($SOL) – 95.37
  3. Wormhole (W) – 20.70
  4. Swarms (SWARMS) – 15.80
  5. Python Network (PYTH) – 12.50
  6. Meteora (MET) – 10:37
  7. DoubleZero (2Z) – 10.43
  8. Drift Protocol (DRIFT) – 9.30
  9. Jito (JTO) – 9.20
  10. Marinade Finance (MNDE) – 7.83

The data in question was compiled by considering the portions of altcoins with multiple chains that are located on the Solana network. It is noteworthy that $LINK has more developer activity than $SOL.

However, it’s worth remembering that developer activity in cryptocurrencies doesn’t always correlate with price.
