However, Novogratz has now abandoned this view, emphasizing that the belief and commitment of the community behind the projects is a critical factor in determining the long-term value of cryptocurrencies.

In an interview in November, Novogratz admitted he was wrong about $XRP, stating that after a long struggle, $XRP had become a real currency. He said $XRP had exceeded expectations, changed the narrative, and built a community strong enough to transform a token into a functional monetary asset.
