Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) announced that he purchased the decentralized finance platform's Aster (ASTER) token with his personal funds. In his post, Zhao stated, “I'm not a trader, I buy and hold,” signaling that he will pursue a long-term strategy.
CZ's statement on X (formerly Twitter) included the following statements:
Disclosure: I bought some Aster with my own money today, I made the purchase through Binance. I'm not a trader, I buy and hold. I kept all the tokens I bought in the first month of BNB's TGE 8 years ago (excluding expenses).
Following this announcement, the price of ASTER rose by over 20%, reaching $1.19. According to the shared screenshot, the account holds 2,090,598.14 ASTER, with a trading price of $0.913.
