Trump Memecoin Skyrockets to $13B Market Cap Hours After Launch
Incoming president Donald Trump launched his TRUMP memecoin late Friday evening on Solana just three days before his inauguration.
According to the token’s official website – gettrumpmemes.com – 200 million TRUMP tokens will be available on launch day with the supply set to increase to a billion over a three-year schedule.
Rumors of a potential hack circulated on X, with many in the crypto community expressing disbelief at the authenticity of Trump’s announcement, but so far it appears genuine.

The one billion total supply includes tokens already held by Trump insiders, including CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC which together own 80% of the supply.
TRUMP topped $13 billion in market capitalization mere hours after launching. It was trading at roughly $13.00 at the time of reporting, up 6,500% since it went live.
