Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama calls attention to a new tournament on Shiba Eternity, with participants eligible to win BONE rewards and SHIFU airdrop.
In an X post yesterday, Kusama announced the latest competitive event for Shiba Eternity, Shiba Inu’s collectible card game (CCG). According to him, Shiba Eternity gamers will compete for two different rewards, such as a prize pool of 500 BONE tokens and SHIFU airdrop points.
While the team would distribute the 500 BONE tokens among the winners of the new Shiba Eternity contest, participants will also earn points, boosting their eligibility in the SHIFU airdrop.
For context, SHIFU is a new crypto project affiliated with Shiba Inu’s gaming arm, Play With Shib. The token was created as part of a partner airdrop initiative between Play With Shib and Imaginary Ones. This initiative seeks to drive growth and rewards within the Play-to-Earn (P2E) space.

The contest is taking place in the Web3 version of Shiba Eternity. This move is part of efforts to boost engagement with the beta version of Shiba Eternity in anticipation of the mainnet launch.
Recall that the beta testing for the Shiba Eternity Web3 version commenced on August 21, with LEASH stakers granted initial access. A few weeks later, the team extended access to holders of Shiba Inu-related NFTs, including Shiboshi and SHEboshi.
Shiba Eternity’s open beta officially launched on October 31, giving everyone access to the Shibarium-powered collectible card game. The open beta came with new cards and strategies. Additionally, the team converted all Web 3 cards within the game to NFTs, allowing players to trade them among themselves.
So far, the team has introduced different contests to boost gameplay, including the 15-Day Web 3 tournament launched in September. The tournament, which resets every 15 days, puts participants in a fierce competition where they get to compete for rewards, such as in-game assets and NFTs.
In the meantime, Shiba Eternity is still in beta, with no specific date for its mainnet launch.
