The team behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem invites developers to join the ecosystem by building on the prominent Layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium.

Shibarium’s official X handle issued the notice yesterday, informing developers that they could start building on the blockchain using Shiba Inu Developer Portal (ShibDev).

The platform offers essential tools and services to make development processes on Shibarium easier and more convenient. Some of the essential tools on ShibDev include node access, API management, faucet, and on-chain data, among others.

In a follow-up tweet, Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist Lucie also urged developers to take advantage of this “comprehensive suite of tools” to start building on Shibarium.

The marketing lead emphasized that the resources on ShibDev are suitable for developers of all experience levels, regardless of whether they are new to creating decentralized applications (dApps) or developing more complex projects.

Shiba Inu Launches ShibDev

The invitation follows the official launch of the portal. Commenting on the development, the team behind Shibarium told The Shib Daily that the platform would provide the relevant tools to streamline dApp development for both Web2 and Web3 developers building on the L2 blockchain.

With ShibDev, the team aims to help developers build stellar products, integrate them into the Shiba Inu ecosystem, and promote the network’s overall growth.

Shibarium Adoption Could Soar

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s invitation to developers could bolster the number of decentralized applications on the L2 blockchain. Hence, Shibarium’s user base would skyrocket massively as more dApps are deployed on the network.

At press time, Shibarium boasts a total transaction of 418,129,632 (418.12 million) and a daily transaction count of 5,210. This represents a plunge of 81.83% from the daily transaction count of 28,680 recorded on August 20.

As the team simplifies the process of building dApps on Shibarium, the network is likely to see increased adoption, leading to a spike in transaction count.
