The Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud have teamed up to improve Japan’s Web3 ecosystem and improve accessibility in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration between Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud marks the launch of Alcove, Asia’s first collaborative Move developer community aimed at fostering innovation and expanding the impact of the Move smart contract programming language.
Alcove’s mission is to grow Move’s influence among talented developers by offering the security, speed and scalability needed for widespread adoption in the Asia-Pacific region. To support this initiative, Aptos Foundation will use Alibaba Cloud technology to host hackathons and educational events. These events are aimed at developing new Web3 talent in the Alcove Japan community and accelerating the development of Japan’s on-chain ecosystem.
Aptos is currently strengthening collaboration with partners to develop its Web3 ecosystem. NBCUniversal and Aptos Labs are collaborating to leverage Web3 and blockchain technologies to improve gameplay, fan loyalty and engagement. Known for its strong regulatory framework and tech-savvy population, Japan is poised to become a leader in promoting the benefits of Web3 and digital assets around the world.
