Cardano’s blockchain partner EMURGO has formed an alliance with Huawei Cloud to promote Web3 solutions through Cardano. EMURGO announced this new collaboration with Huawei in an official press statement today, April 11th. According to the report, the alliance aims to promote the adoption of Cardano-based Web3 solutions throughout Asia and Africa. As part of this alliance, EMURGO will establish a Cardano validator node on the Huawei cloud, effectively integrating Huawei’s cloud infrastructure into the public Cardano blockchain ecosystem.
Additionally, this collaboration will allow Cardano developers to leverage Huawei Cloud’s extensive computing resources to build Web3 solutions. Cardano will gain access to Huawei’s Marketplace, a platform widely used by leading enterprises. The new alliance intends to increase the interoperability and scalability of Cardano cloud services.
The report highlights that this milestone marks the first step towards broader cooperation between EMURGO and Huawei. It is noted that this is in line with EMURGO’s goal of expanding the Cardano ecosystem to important regional economies in Asia-Pacific and Africa. Ken KODAMA, CEO of EMURGO, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with Huawei Cloud, noting that the partnership reflects their shared vision of accelerating Web3 adoption while bringing transparency and trust to the cloud ecosystem.
